In the concrete jungle of Tokyo, there is little evidence of autumn, the few trees around my apartment tend to turn brown in fall, not red, orange or yellow. It's enough to make you believe that fall doesn't exist in Tokyo, but a visit to Yoyogi Park surprised me. Tokyo does have one, you just have to look for it.

The Magic Portable Roadside Bar
After the 1-liter mega-flasks, my friends and I realized our last train had gone, so we went to find a club to entertain us till morn. We didn't have any specific ideas, though, so we ended up wandering around Shibuya for awhile. It goes through a pretty amazing transition at night, from absolutely packed and hopping at 11:30 to still, empty, and dead silent at 1:00.

Yoyogi Park on the Weekend
The weekend is always a busy day in Yoyogi Park .There are plenty of people out strolling, picnicking, playing ball and generally having a good time. You will also often find some street dancing going on which can provide a unique view of Japan that you don’t normally see.

Tokyo Youtube Hanami Party 2009
The 2nd Annual Tokyo Youtube Hanami Party was held Sunday March 29th in Yoyogi Park.
A number of Youtubers located in Tokyo and elsewhere gathered in Yoyogi Park - the park next to the Goth Maids and the dancing Rockabilly Elvises.
Hanami is the Japanese tradition of gathering under cherry blossoms to eat, drink, and be merry.
