The 2nd Annual Tokyo Youtube Hanami Party was held Sunday March 29th in Yoyogi Park.
A number of Youtubers located in Tokyo and elsewhere gathered in Yoyogi Park - the park next to the Goth Maids and the dancing Rockabilly Elvises.
Hanami is the Japanese tradition of gathering under cherry blossoms to eat, drink, and be merry.

Google today came to an agreement with the JASRAC (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers), Japan’s largest music copyright administration body to pay royalties for music protected by local copyright and used in YouTube videos.

A set of three online videos showing the arrest of three ‘‘freeter’’ part-timers who took part in a tour to see Prime Minister Taro Aso’s 6.2 billion yen private residence has generated more than 140,000 replays on the Internet video site YouTube.
The videos in question drew robust demand, ranking 19th among all domestically posted YouTube videos on Sunday.
