Now that Japan joined the rest of the world with the first cases of H1N1, I wonder if I might be refused treatment because I am from the country where those kids picked up those nasty viruses. (I have a chronic cough problem although I have been told I have healthy lungs.)

After Lehmans went down, and then AIG nearly went down, the BOJ has pumped 8 trillion yen (about $85 billion; GBP48 billion) into the market in the space of 3 days, roughly equivalent to the package with which the US government bailed out AIG.
