Leiji Matsumoto Ordered to Pay 2.2 Million
The Daily Yomiuri Online published an article today on Judge Misao Shimizu from the Tokyo District Court ruling against internationally recognized manga artist Leiji Matsumoto. In the case, Matsumoto was ordered to pay 2.2 million yen (a little under $25K USD or a little under €18K) to singer-songwriter Noriyuki Makihara.
