Hybrid price war looming between Honda and Toyota
Toyota is planning a low-cost hybrid to challenge Honda's success with a low-cost model, a move that could spark a price war over the fuel-efficient cars.
Toyota's new model will cost 20-30 percent cheaper than its Prius.

Japanese media criticise Honda over pull-out
Columnist Kunihiko Akai said Honda's success in the European-dominated sport had been in important in helping Japanese overcome a collective inferiority complex.
"Even though the Japanese people achieved their goals in technologies after they toiled in catching and overtaking the West, there remained a mental emptiness," Akai wrote.
"Honda helped fill the void through F1."
