So, maybe the NYC Transit Authority is right to ask for more money: you get what you pay for. Japanese pay out their a#$&s for the trains here but you know what? compared to NY, I have to admit, Japanese trains are FAR superior…service-wise, that is. It’s almost like the same thing the Japanese did with the automobile and why they dominate the market in the US.

Japanese artist arrested in New York before his art show opening
Japanese pop artist, Nara Yoshitomo (50) found himself in a New York jail instead of attending the opening of his art show. Arrested for graffiting on the subway. After 2 days in jail, Yoshitomo was philosophical but in future plans to stay clear of the cops.
Nara's exhibition is at the Boesky Gallery, NY, Feb. 28 to Mar. 28.
Graffiti outlawed on Tottori dunes
The Tottori Prefectural Assembly enacted an ordinance Tuesday prohibiting the drawing of patterns and other "annoying acts" that take away from the natural beauty of the Tottori Sand Dunes. Some of the graffiti being drawn by visitors is i the form of messages, while others are just simple pictures.
Does this mean that until now it was legal to deface the sand dunes?
