In a bid to capture the attention of a cell phone obsessed nation and in order to appeal to younger voters, Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama has stolen from the political play book of successful American politicians including Barak Obama. Hatoyama's office recently launched his blog and a Twitter account to connect the Prime Minister with the public.

Researchers use infrared cameras to determine taste quality of Japanese beef
Scientists at the Gifu Prefectural Research Institute of Information Technology and the Gifu Prefectural Livestock Research Institute are using infrared cameras to analyze Hida-gyu, a local specialty high-grade meat similar to Kobe beef.
In the future, this technology could allow you to go into a local supermarket and check the quality of meat with your cell phone's camera.

The F-02B is water-resistant (IPX5/IPX7/IPX8(1)) and dust-resistant, and users can spray the fragrance of their choice onto the fragrance chip located on the back of the phone, allowing them to carry the scent with them.
