A short view on shinjuku station.. the station was used by an average of 3.64 million people per day in 2007, making it the busiest train station in the world in terms of number of passengers. Including an underground arcade, there are well over 200 exits!!!!

And it is very easy to get lost in this station.. ( in fact I get lost the day of the video ^^ )

how about building miniature scale models of some of Tokyo's most famous areas complete with buildings, cars and people? Truly a monumental undertaking as the below photos show....

Photographer Watanabe Katsumi worked the red light districts of Shinjuku in 1968 Japan. Shooting with an on camera flash, which was rare at the time, his portrait services became popular with the drag queens, gangsters, hookers, and night club patrons that worked and partied in Kabukicho at night.

The Docomo Tower in Shinjuku soars over the Southern exit / Yoyogi area like a great pink middle finger, thumbing its nose at the graceless cluster-bomb mess of old-modern Shinjuku with its super-sleek lines, haute-couture design domination, and clean parallels to other auspicious buildings like Big Ben and the Empire State Building

A small group of peaceful protesters at Shinjuku station's new south exit were forcefully disbanded by police.

We can only hope that the missing part of the equation comes along very soon in the near future.
