Anime, manga attract youth to Peru library
Samantha Mason was walking around Peru Public Library Friday night wearing a ball cap and carrying a soccer ball. She was dressed as Karin Kurosaki of the anime and manga title, “Bleach.”
“She plays soccer and she actually uses the soccer ball to fight these evil creatures called hollows,” Mason said.

Scientists Find 2,700-year-old marijuana in Chinese tomb
Researchers say they have located the world's oldest stash of marijuana, in a tomb in a remote part of China. The cache of cannabis is about 2,700 years old and was clearly ``cultivated for psychoactive purposes," rather than as fibre for clothing or as food, says a research paper in the Journal of Experimental Botany.
