I don't think the concept is to replace nurses with robots but to use them in useful ways like aiding old people who live at home for instance to give them the correct medicine and doses which many old people get mixed up with their poor memories. Also to watch the health of the person to give early warning signs.
Maybe you are right there. Automation is the story of the modern world. Still don't think Our Man would open his heart to the plastic beasts, much less his front door.
