World champion Misato Nakamura defeated Petra Nareks of Slovenia to complete a clean sweep in the women’s events with seven titles at the Grand Slam judo tournament on Sunday.

The 20-year-old Nakamura, who had to be satisfied with the bronze in the Beijing Olympics, fixed Nareks on the floor for an ippon to win the 52-kilogramme final.‘Although I won the world championships, I was not satisfied with my performances in Rotterdam, so I came into this tournament as a challenger,’ said Nakamura.
