So, maybe the NYC Transit Authority is right to ask for more money: you get what you pay for. Japanese pay out their a#$&s for the trains here but you know what? compared to NY, I have to admit, Japanese trains are FAR superior…service-wise, that is. It’s almost like the same thing the Japanese did with the automobile and why they dominate the market in the US. Even the subway cars in NY are made by Kawasaki.
