I had been living in Japan a couple of years, 1990's when I decided to donate a pint or two of my blood. I went to a blood donation center, a Red Cross Hospital in Nagano, just before the Winter Olympics in 1998.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, they refused my donation even though I'm free from diseases like HIV or TB? I never tried again, I was insulted!
