An eight-year-old boy who was forced by his destitute mother to beg in the streets of Manila has been reunited with his Japanese father. The father and son got separated when the boy’s mother returned to the Philippines with him. The mother left the boy to beg after their shanty got burned down and she no longer had any means to support him.
